“Nature is Our Future”
It was a joyous morning in Holy Cross as the Holy cross family celebrated the Environmental day on the theme “Nature is our Future”. A special assembly related to environment was conducted. Student of Class IX & X enthralled all with their brilliant Nukkad Natak and skit depicting awareness on Better Environment, Better tomorrow, Master Akash Mishra and Neetu Malviya of Class X, XII delivered a speech on the importance of environment. The school also planned a venture that was rally taken out from school premises to New Lambakheda Chouraha. It was flagged off by the Manager Rev.Fr.Saiju Kolarikkal over 200 students of green house mistress, Dance teacher, supporting staff participated in the rally. Students took out the rally with the placards carrying the message of “Plant a sapling in every house”, Nukad Natak’s and skit on save trees were performed by the student on the road also. Saplings and paper bags were distributed to the vendor’s and other people by hands of the students and the Principal Rev.Sr. Apoline Pinto. To mark the day, the school had organised a drawing competition and poem writing competition on the topic “Nature is our Future”, for the student of class VI to VIII and IX to XII. The day becomes more special when the Principal staff and students planted saplings with the guest who arrived from Bhopal School of Social Sciences (BSSS) for a tree campaign. Principal Rev. Sr. Apoline Pinto appreciated the efforts made by the teachers and students. “Present Seenario seeks the change in our lifestyle. It is the moral duty of every individual of planet earth to make it clean using the therapy of recycle, reduce and reuse.
